Since Akatosh not taking prisoners isn’t anything noteworthy, I can only presume that Solus has got something really nasty up his sleave this time. In other words, we ain’t seen nothin’ yet. :)

  • Distreson

Agrippa used to work WITH Solus? I probably should’ve expected that, but I didn’t. That was a surprise for me.

i knew he had this darker side to him. with that whole bad-ass type attitude, it had to come from somewhere

Akatosh are just like Humanity, a thin veneer of civilization over a core of barbarism. You see it wherever the society breaks down or perverted as in areas of the world that are on the edge of any society. Too much distance from general societal norms break the bonds of any society including breaking family groups.

Then you end up with Rwanda, Cambodia, and other Genocides. Also mass suicides in cults, unreasoning religious based killings, communist purges. All of these acts are on the edge like wars, anarchy, and the terror. Sometimes wars are made necessary but they are the edge of society, that is when others seek to defeat your society by force of arms or terror for the only thing worse than war is defeat in war, particularly to a barbarian society on the edge. Just ask the Carthaginians about defeat in War.

The problem with this interstellar war is that no one is looking for the real culprits for they believe they all ready found them. The threat to the real culprits is that they will be found out and then actually targeted rather than taking incidental casualties in the larger war.

Where are you guys getting Akatosh from? Its Azatoth, unless your talking about something completely different.

  • Jamming

Sorry I cheated, I just copied from his test.

Effing hell. My bad, it would appear that I’ve mixed them up with a very similar looking word from the Elder Scrolls games. Brain on autopilot!

  • http://www.terra-comic.com Holly

It’s pretty similar, so it’s an understandable mistake :).

Did I say the new palette was glowing? Yes I did, the sky and vegetation here just made me want to say that again!
