Chapter: 6-Chapter Six
  • http://Slamlander.Caselle-vpn.Net Slamlander

Welcome back and happy solstice. 😉

Minor bug report: When you upload your new page the thumbnail doesn’t get updated and the ‘Next’ button on the existing page doesn’t get the new link.

I like the design of the craft that they’re stealing. However, considering the sort of culture that they’re in (a little rough) I would expect at least one guard. 😉

@Slamlander: Thanks for the info about the bug, I forgot to check off ‘chapter 6′ when I uploaded it, hopefully it works now. :)

Also, I agree that there could’ve been someone guarding the vehicle, would’ve meant I could’ve drawn more butt-kicking, which is always fun. 😉 I guess I was just thinking of it as an empty garage, hopefully the later pages will pick things up a bit.

However, I will admit that I like dialogue scenes, but when I update once a week I know it can make things drag… (especially when I just took two months off to heal my wrist) 😛

Finally, just a quick note to everyone about the archives: I added text links with previews of the covers on the main site: http://www.terra-comic.com/archives.php (it loads a lot faster and is an alternative to the thumbnail option).

hoo boy, you have NO intention of us stopping reading anytime soon, do you?

  • ShadowWolf

Welcome back Holly!!.. now just make sure you dont re-injure yourself =) And early happy x-mass.

  • Frisian

Welcome back! Just keep your wrist healthy even if it means less updates.
    Muij Wienachtn!

I, for one, do not mind the dialogue so much. True, with a once a week update, it can mean a long time between action scenes, but when the pages are read in succession, I don’t see any issue with pacing. One must not loose sight that this medium will eventually take its final form of comic/miniseries/graphic novel, and the pace will change considerably when the pages are read all at once.

Glad your wrist is better. Merry holidays to you, and may the coming year be full of Terra! :)

Welcome Back! And who would guessed you could jump start a futuristic car the same way you can a modern car? I would have thought they had fixed that particular problem. I like it.

  • Pizzasgood

    Yay!

  • Jamming

I would of guessed! I mean how many ways can you bypass an ignition switch?

Consider we are using similiar technology that we were to the same switch in the Model-T, why would it change that much. Ask somone who lost their electronic chipped key lately, do you want to spend pay $350+ ro replace it? Some places it just better to have a cheap key than say a thumbprint switch, that is if you like your thumb staying attached to the rest of you.

  • Korbel

-Jamming, what I meant was I would have expected hacking into a computer system to start it up, not sparking a wire. Although you do have a good point with the Model T, I’m not sure if they even use combustion engines here that an ignition switch is necessary. They could be operating on stored power, like a battery, or a small reactor, that would have safety protocols in place to prevent such a simple bypass due to the massive amount of potential energy (in either system) just waiting to either be harnessed, or to explode.

Hey, good to see you’re back! Hopefully, you’re all healed up for the holidays. I’ve missed seeing new Terra pages!

  • Jamming

Sorry if I came on a little strong, re-reading it, I may have. I see your point and you see mine, which is the best we can expect of one another. A good outcome in my opinion.

It would be a real pain if he sparked the hydrogen fuel cell with a little hydrogen leakage, with a nice little flash fire that burns off the eyebrows up to something catastrophic occuring. (Failed his skill check or critically fail)
