Hey guys, I just wanted to give you all a quick update on how things have been going as I’ve been pretty quiet lately.

April has been really, really stressful for Drew and I. I won’t get into the details but it has been pretty difficult to focus on anything but real life stuff the past few weeks. As a result of the stress, my health has taken a bit of a hit, which is why it took almost a month to get this update finished. Things do seem to be looking up though, so I’m going to try to be cautiously optimistic and hope to be back on track soon.

I’m really grateful to all of you for being so understanding with these breaks between updates. With chronic illness, people can sometimes give up on you or get frustrated by your limitations, so to have this kind of support and understanding in my life helps me more than I can express.

STATUS UPDATE: May 8th 2019

Hey guys, I figured it was high time for another update on how things have been going. Since I last posted things haven’t exactly improved, the Saturday before my birthday (May 6th) our vehicle wouldn’t start. We hoped it would be something small but once we towed it to the mechanic we found out the bill would be about 1800 dollars (they have to remove the engine, so it’s pretty pricey work). Sine then we’ve been without a vehicle, we still don’t have it back yet, but repairs should be finished soon.

Needless to say this wasn’t exactly a morale boost after the stressful month that was April. I feel like a broken record to be posting something like this so soon after the last update I gave, but it is what it is. I’ve been basically a ball of stress for several weeks at this point. Thinking creatively or about the comic has been really, really difficult, I’ve been basically on autopilot.

Thank you, as always, for your understanding. Chapter 10 is really close to being finished, so I hope I can manage to get the remaining pages completed in a timely fashion. As always, I’ll keep you all posted.

Holly and Drew.
