Hey guys, welcome back! Agrippa seems to have an awful lot of faith in Grey, I guess we’ll have to wait and see how that pans out for everyone.
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. I struggled with fatigue through most of it and as a result, my buffer is next to non existent. I’m slowly starting to feel a bit better, so I should be able to get back on my feet over the next couple weeks and hopefully get some pages finished during that time.
I’ve still been working on the anatomy course I’m taking, so I don’t really have anything all that exciting to show at the moment. One of the disadvantages to learning anatomy from the inside out is that it is a super slow process and most people aren’t interested in drawings of bones and whatnot lol. I do however have a comparison shot of Lex’s face vs one I drew in 2018 as this week’s vote incentive, just so you guys can see how the artwork has changed over the past year or so.
I’m actually pretty happy with how this page turned out, I feel like I’m finally finding my footing with the new coloring/drawing style and as a result it feels much more natural than before. My main goal is to have art that is somewhat realistic, yet stylized, so as long as it’s moving in that direction, I’m happy. Also, I wanted to give another shoutout to Drew for helping me with Agrippa’s pose in panel one, he really is coming in handy with these reference pictures! 😀
