With the consistent errors of some words, you may want to begin thinking of what the contraction stands for when putting the punctuation in. I.e., “If you do not cut the back talk…” would become “If you don’t cut the back talk….” It makes it easier to remember the proper punctuation that way, where the apostrophe replaces the missing characters. The same follows for other conjunctions (would not == won’t, can not = can’t, etc.). It is a minor item, but one that makes the text easier to read (as the mind doesn’t have to backtrack in order to decipher what the pattern was that the eye saw).

A lot of times I do actually know the proper punctuation, it’s just a matter of skimming past the error when I proof read it. At this time I was lettering/proof reading 116 pages, so I’m sure I’ve missed a few things. I’ve fixed most of them, but sometimes things still sneak past me. I’ll try to find and fix the few remaining errors in the next little while.
